What we are looking for A collaborative team player to work closely with all members of the International Programs (IP) team to support the administration and operations of UNICEF Australia's Directly Supported Programs (DSP).
Your day will include The International Programs Officer participates fully in the IP team attending and contributing to meetings, special events, learning and reflection sessions, committees etc.
They take an overall project management approach to ensure systematic processes and adequate documentation.
Liaison with other UNICEF Australia teams and country office contacts is also a key responsibility of the role.
Identifying, maintaining and monitoring of data and documentation Financial forecasting and remittance approval and processing International Programs team coordination and support DFAT and ACFID Compliance Operational Management- In collaboration with the International Programs team, implement all relevant policies, procedures, and systems and work towards achievement of goals and KPIs Fundraising support, communications and reporting Meetings & Events - assist in organisation, logistics and resources for meetings, training and events led by the IP team We would like you to have the following skills and experience Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as International Development, International Public Health etc.
Experience in the field of international development, including involvement with programs in a developing country context.
Understanding of and familiarity with child-focussed programming, and with the geographical focus of UNICEF Australia.
Familiarity or experience with the DFAT accreditation and ANCP requirements is desirable.
Sound experience working in an environment where strong administrative and organisational skills are required.
Sound experience working in an environment where excellent written communication skills, report writing and editing skills are required.
A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working in the international aid and development sector.
