My client is a large Not For Profit organisation, based close to Melbourne's CBD.
This organisation is values driven, focusing on providing exceptional care and support to a large base of clients which it was created to support.
As part of the continued growth and transformation of this organisation, an IT Procurement team is being created with a focus on centralising procurement across a vast landscape of centres in Victoria with the emphasis on delivering value back to their client base.
ROLE
The ITS Procurement Manager will lead the ITS Procurement team in delivering upcoming critical projects whilst developing the long-term strategic plan for ITS Procurement activities including the sourcing strategy, contract & supplier relationship management frameworks.
This role interacts on a day-to-day basis with the IT business unit and it is critical that we find an individual who is highly engaging with stakeholders and someone who has broad techno-commercial category knowledge in order to be the SME the business requires.
You will lead a small team of IT Procurement experts who will support in delivering the overall strategy.
Responsibilities: Build long-term IT Procurement strategy across all areas for the business including Sourcing, SRM and Contract Management frameworksManage and negotiate critical contracts, pricing, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities for improvementConduct supplier relationship reviews to ensure compliance and continue to build relationships with key partnersSupport, implement and report on Modern Slavery initiatives to the businessContinue to build on strong relationships throughout the business to increase engagement with the Procurement teamContinue to run Risk management strategies across the supply networkSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The right person for this role is first and foremost someone who is values driven with a passion for serving the community.
Your role as the ITS Procurement Manager is focused on being the SME to the internal business stakeholders on all things Procurement, whilst ensuring you are delivering value back to the business with strategic supplier relationships and strategic planning.
You will be a driven individual who enjoys working with autonomy but is not afraid to put their hand up for support when needed.
Specific qualifications include: Strong commercial and contract knowledge within the IT&T spaceCategory knowledge in Cyber, Device as a Service (DaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and System Integration services are particularly of interest but also general knowledge across Software, Hardware and IT Services is a mustHigh energy, results-driven mentality and ability to work autonomouslyProcess improvement mindsetStrong stakeholder management experienceStrong communication skills and ability to develop clear business cases which will be seen up to Exec levelGET IN TOUCH
