Our projects include everything from upgrades to existing facilities to complete new builds with construction values in excess of $100M.We are proud of our project portfolio which continues to include some of the most significant civil infrastructure projects in WA.We are now looking for a senior to associate level civil engineer with specialist expertise in drainage to join our established team and collaborate on a range of projects across all phases of the project life cycle from planning, detailed design, construction support to asset management.This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your career on a range of projects in one of the most talented and respected teams in the business.What to expect day to day:Be part of a large discipline team with significant opportunities to build your career.Work with Perth's leading drainage practitionersManage and contribute to the design of projects that leave a significant legacy for our communityGuide graduate engineers in their career journeyParticipate in the project management activitiesAbout youYou will be responsible for contributing to various projects, delivering innovative and technical advice and designs, and for serving as a key contact for clients.You will work on a broad range of projects for urban redevelopment, highways and rail, among others.As a professional engineer you will have:Bachelor of Engineering degree.Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering with at least 4 years of drainage design experience.Demonstrated experience in designing drainage for urban infrastructure projects, preferably to Main Roads Western Australia design standards.Demonstrated competency with drainage design software potentially including 12D drainage, Drains or OpenRoads (Drainage).The ability to work well within a team environment.Life at BG&EFlexible working arrangements aimed at achieving real work life balanceHealth and wellbeing support via confidential EAP programCompetitive remunerationGenerous leave arrangements including a paid parental leave schemeDiversity and InclusionEquality is part of BG&E's DNA – it begins with our values and continues through our culture – and is fostered throughout our workplaces.
