Finance Risk Assurance Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Finance Risk Assurance Partner to join our team in Melbourne.
As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in promoting Financial Control and Governance and Risk Management Frameworks across the Asia Pacific Market Unit.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a robust finance risk assurance plan that meets the needs of the business.Partner with stakeholders to understand key risks and obligations and ensure agreement on the Annual Plan.Execute assurance activities, designing testing plans and conducting testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and processes.Ensure Bupa establishes and operates processes to meet relevant requirements under the UK Corporate Governance code.Provide education and continued monitoring of the implementation of key elements of the Financial Control and Governance and Risk Management Frameworks.What We OfferWe offer a range of benefits, including a healthy work-life balance, leadership support, reduced private health cover, study leave, volunteering options, and a commitment to promoting from within.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.CA or CPA qualification.Strong understanding of accounting standards and auditing, governance, risk, and quality assurance processes.Proven track record of 3 years' experience or more in financial accounting, external auditing, or accounting advisory.
