Our Client specialises in providing patients with access to alternative treatment options, including medicinal cannabis.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic GP or Nurse Practitioner.
In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and manage patients who may benefit from medicinal cannabis treatments, adhering to current regulations and clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess suitability for medicinal cannabis treatment.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Educate patients about the benefits, risks, and regulations surrounding medicinal cannabis.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Stay updated on the latest clinical guidelines and research in medicinal cannabis.
Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal laws related to prescribing medicinal cannabis.
Qualifications and Experience: Current registration as a General Practitioner (FRACGP) or Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA.
Unrestricted license to practice in Australia Experience in chronic pain management, palliative care, or alternative therapies is advantageous.
Strong understanding of the legal framework and ethical considerations surrounding medicinal cannabis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about advances in medicinal cannabis research.
