About This RoleOur clinic in Port Macquarie Base Hospital is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.
We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.The role is a full-time position typically working Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 6am - 6pm.
You will be rostered on a weekend day or public holiday from time to time, working no more than 5 days per week.Role OverviewAs a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeGreeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.Billing procedures: private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.Collaborating with clerical staff.
