Key Responsibilities and Requirements Possess current RN registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Permanent Full time/Part-time Positions Available 2+ years Mental Health Experience Must be available Tuesday - Friday PM shift Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care Strong focus on person-centred, evidence-based nursing care Effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the workplace Mental Health Nursing experience and/or working towards career path in field Compliance or willingness to comply with HR-4.34 'Assessment, Screening and Vaccination of Healthcare Workers' policy The right to work in Australia, appropriate immunisation status and a clear NSW Police Check valid within 3 months Casual positions available.
Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment Extensive Mental Health Nursing experience Able to complete a Mental State Examination (MSE) Experience and an understanding of alcohol and other drugs detoxification principles NO RECRUITMENT AGENCIES
