The Role Permanent full time Staff Specialist in Gastroenterology with General Medicine preferred, 40 hours per week.

This historic city is Australia's oldest inland.
If you spent a week here you would not exhaust the richness of this remarkable and historic city with rich surrounding agricultural area's and then to a major administrative centre and, most recently, an important regional academic centre with a number of prominent schools and the main campus of Charles Sturt University.
The city is surrounded by fascinating historic villages; has excellent restaurants; can claim to have one of the finest museums in the country.
The Hospital This is a 200 bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services.
A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.
Population numbers swell during the fruit harvest season when an estimated 10,000 itinerant workers from throughout Australia and overseas visit the region.
Snake bites, cuts, scratches to the eyes from branches, injuries caused by falling from a fruit picking ladder and allergic reactions are among the most common conditions treated during the this period.
The Requirements Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Fellowship with RACP SIMG's with General Medicine and Gastroenterology assessed and deemed substantially comparable are encouraged to apply.
