Working as part of the Podiatry team, and reporting to the Podiatry Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing client centered care with a high standard of clinical services and expertise to clients of all ages with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
As part of this role your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Working as an active member of the podiatry team, providing holistic client centered podiatric care to members of the Hume and Whittlesea communities.Applying evidence based clinical skills and knowledge in the treatment of podiatric conditions.Working in a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client centered care plans.Be involved in quality assurance and service development projects to enhance innovative and efficient practices.Supervising podiatry students and Allied Health Assistants where appropriate.Liaising with external partners to ensure a quality service is provided to our communities.Actively engage in team meetings and case discussions both within the podiatry team and the Health and Wellbeing team.Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will bring eagerness to work within a multidisciplinary team managing complex clinical presentations relating to the lower limb.
You will possess a range of skills and requirements, including:
Qualification in Podiatry with registration as a podiatrist with AHPRA.Sound theoretical knowledge base and the commitment to continuing Professional Development to ensure best practice/evidence-based interventions.Developed clinical skills and demonstrated ability to support a coordinated approach by working with a range of stakeholders to improve health outcomes as agreed with your clients.Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team environment.The fine print Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC.Full driver license and travel between sites required.Closing date for applications will be 27th October 2024.We kindly request you include a covering letter, addressed to Georgia Jackson, detailing your motivation for joining DPV Health and highlighting the qualities you bring to this position.
