Join a new independent practice on the outskirts of Brisbane, Samford Emergency Vets (SEV), which is dedicated to providing compassionate after-hours and emergency care for small animals.
What they are looking for : A degree in Veterinary Medicine.A minimum of 3 years experience.Sole charge responsibilities.Ability to work evening and overnight shifts.Experience in emergency and critical care is desirable, however, if you have a great attitude and want to learn, we want to hear from youCommitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.Ability to communicate with pet owners.Your Role Is : Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergency cases that arrive during the night / after-hours.Providing overnight care to existing medical and surgical patients from surrounding general practitioners that need supervision overnight.Critical Care: Providing intensive monitoring and treatment to critically ill patients.Diagnostic Expertise: Triaging and applying thorough examinations and appropriate diagnostics for critical care treatment.Performing emergency surgeries when necessary.Client Communication.Documentation and Record-Keeping.Team Support: Providing mentorship and guidance to all support staff working overnight.Your role is demanding yet incredibly rewarding, as you play a crucial part in saving lives and providing compassionate care to animals in their time of greatest need.
