They require a new Commercial Financial Accountant to join the team.The OpportunityAre you a CA/CPA qualified accountant with a passion for driving business performance using your technical expertise?
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and contribute to the financial management of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting:

Work alongside the Senior Financial Accountant in managing the end-to-end financials and month-end reporting.Compliance:

General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in monthly and quarterly reporting.Statutory Reporting:

Prepare supporting schedules for year-end financial reports and liaise with external auditors.Taxation Support:

Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Team to prepare schedules for the annual tax return, FBT calculations, and BAS compliance.Ad Hoc Reporting:

Provide support for ad hoc reporting, including Profit Centre reporting and responding to queries from various departments.About YouYou are a commercially savvy financial accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You have a strong foundation in technical accounting fundamentals and are looking to take the next step in your career.Your Qualifications and Experience:CA/CPA Qualified

from either chartered or commercial environment.Technical Skills:

Strong understanding and interest in technical financial reporting and compliance.Industry Experience:

Experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, FMCG, or Construction industries is ideal.Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to the wider business.Results-Oriented:

Autonomous self-starter able to hit deadlines with minimal supervision.Tech Savvy:

Proficiency in Pronto or similar ERP systems plus strong Excel skills.This is a full-time role working five days/week out of the offices in South Brisbane.
