They own and operate one of the largest and best-maintained mining fleets in PNG, offering the mining sector a variety of infrastructure projects including water, gas piping, treatment plants, and energy-associated technologies.This mine infrastructure project will be running for 1-2 years.
We require an experienced and qualified Driller operating within rotary, dual rotary, down the hole hammer, and casing operations.
A Driller who has worked on large-scale projects including mines, plants, and large infrastructure as part of the head contracting team.
You will create and enforce strict safety protocols while ensuring that high-quality drilling takes place during the installation of anchors in alignment with project timelines.This role will suit an experienced Casing Driller with strong technical expertise and capabilities optimizing productivity.
Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:Deliver anchor drilling activities to meet production and project requirementsProven ability to drive and maintain operational improvements and efficienciesExperience in Deep Hole Drilling (60 - 80m plus)Experience with drilling for permanent anchors, temporary anchors, strand anchors, or soil anchorsCarry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment in line with company and manufacturers detailsPromote a strong safe and healthy workplace, and ensure environmental standards are in line with regulationsPrevious experience as a Senior Driller / Anchor Casing Driller is preferred, and must have experience with the above drilling rigs.
The successful individual will have a proven track record of 3-5 years' experience as a multi-skilled drill rig operator for civil, construction, or mining companies in similar conditions.
Valid passport is required, rights to travel, and must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol tests.Must have strong communication skills, follow directions, and be proactive in the workplace.
Have obtained a First Aid Certificate and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses in the mining and construction industry.This role will ensure drilling operations and project targets are met, delivering appropriate drilling and anchoring works.If this opportunity sounds like you and you would like to hear more, please apply now#J-18808-Ljbffr
