Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our team in support of this.The RoleAs our Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be the guiding light in setting the tone for exceptional guest experience, developing your team into remarkable food & beverage professionals, and working in collaboration with department heads to influence food & beverage menu selection of the restaurant. Most importantly, you will transport all diners to an oasis where they can unwind and relax into their time on Rottnest Island.Lontara welcomes guests across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. This role would suit an experienced Restaurant/Venue Manager, looking to progress in their career and manage the operational & commercial success of Lontara, Bayside Bar, Poolside Bar, and the Samphire Club.Key ResponsibilitiesLeveraging your industry expertise to ensure smooth day-to-day service delivery.Demonstrating a strong knowledge of food service procedures and current hospitality trends.Providing expert guidance on food and beverage operations, including hotel management principles at a managerial level.Managing the financial side of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Collaborating with department managers to maximize success for the entire property.Driving a motivated team environment through effective recruitment, training, and staff development practices.Shaping a positive and collaborative team culture.Consistently driving high customer satisfaction rates.About YouMinimum of 3 years Venue/Restaurant Management experience.Exceptional knowledge of food & beverage selections.Charismatic, warm, and welcoming.Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations.Experienced in people management and guest relationships.Passionate hands-on leader – thriving on floor energy.Ability to work well under pressure – remaining calm & collected.High ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.Strong customer relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.BenefitsAccess to The Master Key program Unlock a range of rewards across all of the Prendiville Group venues.2 meals provided daily.Staff accommodation, utilities, and linen provided in salary package.Endless views & 63 beaches to explore across the island (there's even a pink lake).Monthly ferry tickets to explore the mainland and shake out your sea legs.Opportunity to progress in your career across the Prendiville Group.Range of staff events and recognition programs.NOTE: This is a LIVE ON only role – you would be required to live in shared management accommodation on Rottnest Island.
