Job DescriptionFuel industry experience is valuable; however, Lowes Petroleum encourages experienced drivers with minimal to no fuel industry experience to apply. Our team of driver trainers provides an exceptional training program enabling drivers to develop their skills and abilities. We are looking for an experienced Multi-Combination Linehaul driver to join our team in Melbourne on an alternating shift roster.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within the Victoria & Southern NSW region.
Safety comes first in a work environment supported by our dedicated HSSE team.Exceptional training program supporting both experienced and new drivers in the fuel industry.Guaranteed hours + approximately 30hrs of overtime per fortnight.Linehaul opportunity, servicing customers in regional locations.Attractive Triple Shifted Roster – Every 3rd week 5 days off.Permanent, full-time opportunity.Uniforms & PPE provided.About the role: Develop, grow, and maintain good relationships with our customers.Loading, transportation, and delivery of fuels to various customers throughout Victoria and Southern New South Wales.Ensure safety and compliance is adhered to at all times.Perform daily pre-starts on vehicles and equipment.Manage fatigue and perform log book duties.Are you the one? SLP Licence preferred; however, training will be provided to the successful applicant.Dangerous Goods Licence; however, training will be provided to the successful applicant.Experience as a professional driver with B Double combinations.Excellent driving history - Traffic history report required.Good communication skills both written and verbal.Good customer service skills and focus.Valid MC licence.If this sounds like the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
