We take a values-based leadership approach putting our people at the centre of everything we do, striving to deliver our mission of Excellence in Care through our CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.ABOUT THE ROLEThe NSW Ambulance Virtual Clinical Care Centre (VCCC) provides a secondary triage service to ensure appropriate and timely provision of healthcare to Triple Zero (000) callers. VCCC Triage Clinicians (Nurses and Paramedics) perform secondary triage after the initial Triple Zero (000) call has been completed, and where appropriate refer patients to established healthcare pathways, escalate care, and/or notify the return of the incident to the appropriate Control Centre for dispatch of NSW Ambulance resources. NSW Ambulance receives over 3000 triple zero calls daily across the spectrum of acuity.As a medical specialist within the VCCC, you will be a member of a dynamic and energetic team of clinicians and support personnel of various grades who are committed to delivering the right care for the right patient at the right time.
