Your Opportunity to Join Our TeamAn exciting opportunity has been made available for a Automation Engineer at our Edinburgh Parks site.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are seeking an engineering professional educated or skilled in Automation Technology, Electrical Design, and Controls Integration.
BenefitsImmediate startOnsite ParkingGreat employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + moreGreat job security with an ASX-listed and stable companyThe health, safety, and well-being of our people is our highest priorityFast-paced and team-focused environmentDaily TasksSite Lead and SME for site electrical control infrastructure.Managing daily improvements to reviewing site wide development and growth.Analyse plant processes, design, and implement improvements.Support and coach on site Electricians and programmers for development and troubleshooting.Develop and implement solutions to deliver automation to improve production efficiency.Manage and plan end of life equipment replacement strategy.Develop and implement solutions to deliver energy / water savings.Maintenance of PLC and SCADA systems (Allan Bradley / Citec / Wonderware).Manage electrical engineering projects and ensure project is adequately planned by developing technical specifications, job instructions / procedures, material and services requirements, labour and skill requirements, tools and equipment requirements, industrial notifications, environmental clearances, permits and safety management plans.You Will Bring to This RoleElectrical Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent.Practical experience with PLC systems and SCADA systems.Communication and leadership skills combined with the ability to provide advanced technical solutions and problem solve.Experience in an engineering role with system design, implementation, and commissioning.Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.Ability to work as part of a professional, skilled and flexible team.Excellent communication and multitasking skills.Coaching and management of team members.Knowledge of instrumentation and machine safety.An advantage but not essential would be SAP Work Management experience.We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
