Job Description Nestled in Parramatta Park's lush surrounds, Parramatta Aquatic Centre (The PAC) is a new fitness, wellness and relaxation hub.
Featuring three pools including an outdoor Olympic-sized centrepiece and indoor water playground, as well as spa, steam and sauna facilities, fitness centre, and public café, the PAC is a community oasis to accompany Parramatta's burgeoning CBD district.

Join us on Parramatta's positive transformation journey by supporting the operations of Council's community aquatic and wellness facility - The Parramatta Aquatic Centre (The PAC).
This position is responsible for delivering City of Parramatta's aquatic education and water safety programs ensuring high-quality lesson content that aligns with the program's goals and outcomes.
On a daily basis, your main tasks will include: Instruct lessons for students in water safety, water familiarisation, learn to swim and squads.
Lesson planning and teaching with an emphasis on safety and variety for participants.
Evaluate and adjust lesson plans accordingly to cater for the needs of the students.
Organise and monitor the condition of teaching equipment each lesson.
Regularly assess student's progress.
Assist in providing a customer orientated environment.
Promote teamwork and communication through collaborative work practices.
About ?you The successful candidate should have a passion for teaching swimming and water safety as well as the below qualifications.
No previous teaching experience is necessary.
Flexibility and willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster across multiple facilities is also required.
Required Qualifications include: Current Australian Swimming & Water Safety qualification  Current CPR Certificate  NSW Working with Children Check  Desired Qualifications include: Experience in swim teaching/coaching at all levels from Infants to Squads.
First aid certificate Current Australian Teacher of Infant & Preschool qualification Current Australian Teacher of Access & Inclusion qualification Current Australian Teacher of Adult qualification Current Australian Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification Pool Lifeguard qualification What's on offer We are multiple positions available and are offering an attractive hourly rate of $31.13 plus 25% casual loading and weekend penalty rates.
