We support integrity and initiative, and we strive to give opportunities for personal and professional development in a supportive environment.The OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of One Eleven Restaurant. As the heart and soul of our establishment, you'll be in charge of leading an exceptional team, ensuring flawless operations, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.Ensure seamless operations during service periods, developing strong relationships with guests.Train and supervise restaurant team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the menu offering and service standards.Order supplies, track sales and manage labour costs to ensure profitability.Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.Monitor financial reports, sales data and guest feedback to make informed decisions about operations and marketing strategies.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.Our successful candidate will have:A minimum of two years' experience as a Restaurant Supervisor.Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.Excellent customer service skills, including confidence when dealing with complaints and resolution should the need arise.Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.A positive attitude that is aligned with our company values and culture.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.Experience using SevenRooms and MICROS Simphony - highly regarded but not essential.Discover what awaits:Immerse yourself in the storied legacy of Melbourne's iconic Grand Heritage Hotel, where every day presents a chance to shape its enduring narrative.Enjoy competitive compensation and award-level working conditions.Take your career to new heights with unlimited opportunities for growth within our expanding hospitality group.Experience the ultimate convenience of a prime CBD location, mere steps away from public transport and at the heart of Melbourne's vibrant city.Indulge in daily, nutritious staff meals to fuel your workdayIndulge in exclusive discounts across our esteemed collection of venues including Kudo, Aru, Sunda and Antara.Be part of a team where your creativity and input is encouraged - make your markIf this sounds like you, we can't wait to hear from you Take the next step in your career by applying now and joining our exceptional team at The Hotel Windsor.We value the unique backgrounds, experiences and contributions that each person brings to our team, and we encourage and celebrate our diversity.
