What?you'll?do:? Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of technical engineering solutions, providing timely support and recommendations to the project manager.
Identify and assess options for project needs, involving engineering teams, site operations and maintenance in decision-making.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Ensure clear and comprehensive project briefings and documentation for effective responses from consultants and contractors, minimising RFIs.
Demonstrate proven experience in every stage of project lifecycle, ensuring key project and stakeholder's requirements are met Oversee and coordinate design consultants and construction contractors in the development of options, concepts, and detailed designs.
Ensure adherence to engineering specifications and standards throughout the process, while managing the implementation of designs during construction and the successful commissioning and handover of the project.
What we are looking for:?? Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Proven experience in managing the engineering and design aspects of multiple multidisciplinary infrastructure projects (ideally with knowledge of assets relevant to WaterNSW core asset base such as dams, water regulating structures, various types of gates and cranes, valves, pumps, hydraulic systems), with a strong focus on safety in design.
Ability to interpret, assess, and review engineering designs, drawings, and construction methodologies to ensure compliance with standards, safety, stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Experience in collaborative decision-making with stakeholders to review, analyse, negotiate and implement technical solutions.
Engineering point of contact for the project stakeholders, designers and contractors to resolve engineering issues, RFIs & ensure project scope is achieved Overnight travel to remote NSW sites and current NSW Driver's License.
