As a Safety Advisor, you have the chance to join our team and contribute to enhancing workplace safety. This role offers the opportunity to assess our effectiveness in managing critical risks, improve work design, and help remove operational constraints, ultimately making a tangible impact on the Safety of Work.
In this position, you will provide high-quality, innovative, and customer-focused safety support across various construction projects, operations, and maintenance activities in Southern Queensland. You'll have the autonomy to influence and drive positive changes on the frontline, ensuring safety remains a top priority.
Your expertise
A personal approach to safety and an ability to engage with all levels of the organisation. Curiosity about learning from everyday work through positive interactions with frontline teams. Diploma level qualification in a field of safety studies or lesser qualification coupled with significant experience. Formal investigation qualification or experience in contemporary event learning approaches such as Learning Teams. Internal audit qualifications and experience in delivering safety audits. Ability to organise and manage competing demands and priorities.
We'd also love you to have:
Electrical Trade qualifications (e.g. Linesman, Electrical Fitter/Mechanic). Experience in a safety role within the Construction and/or Electrical Industries.

Based in Brisbane, you will join a team of dedicated Safety Advisors, all under the leadership of the Regional Safety Lead for Southern Queensland. This collaborative environment offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to a unified approach in ensuring safety excellence across our operations.
