The Role As the Visual Merchandising Area Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the VM Creative team and Retail Regional Manager to ensure the successful implementation of visual merchandising strategies across multiple stores within VIC.
This role plays a critical part in translating brand and product strategies into tailored store layouts, coaching and empowering Store Managers to own effective VM execution, and driving operational excellence while maintaining a seamless and engaging customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Maintain an in-depth understanding of product collections, briefs, and the overall brand strategy to ensure alignment across stores.Ensure that store layouts reflect brand identity while maximising space and enhancing customer experience.Work closely with the Retail Regional Manager to prioritise store visits based on VM needs and strategic focus.Provide coaching and development to store teams, focusing on the "art of science" of visual merchandising and empowering Store Managers to own the execution of VM requirements in their stores.Track and monitor the execution status of store VM roll-outs to ensure timely, accurate, and safe completion.Identify opportunities to simplify and optimise the VM process, improving both the instore team member experience and the customer journey.Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.Attributes you possess Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and best practices.Proficiency in analysing product performance data and applying it to VM strategies.Previous experience coaching and developing teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and Store Managers.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimisation and efficiency.Why work for us A competitive remuneration package and seasonal product allowances available.Generous discounts for you and your immediate family on all Country Road, Trenery, Mimco, Politix and Witchery products.Excellent career progression opportunities across the Country Road Group within all of our iconic brands.We invest in leadership development programs to enable our leaders to inspire their teams and lead our strategy.We are a global business with over 600 store locations and 6,300 team members with a market-leading presence in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.About Country Road Country Road inspires modern Australian living every day.
