Opportunities are permanent full-time with the option to be based in Brisbane or Townsville (QLD).
Locations: Brisbane, Townsville (QLD)
Employment: Permanent full-time with benefits
Role: Vehicle Mechanic
Assembly, test, fault finding and integration of mechanical systems for military use Support engineering services and technical reporting Technical documentation development and manage user manuals Repair, disassemble and reassemble vehicle sub-systems in accordance with technical drawings and specifications Utilise test equipment and practice safe working Support training and instruction of military personnel Quality assurance, technical reporting and manage continuous improvement Maintenance setup and project planning What we require:
Hold a current Diesel or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic tertiary qualification Previous experience as a Vehicle Mechanic on military vehicles/platforms, ASLAV or M1A1 or similar.
Ability to work in a pressured environment and adhere to MIL-STDs Previous or active defence clearance Baseline or above level; Australian Citizenship essential Collaborative attitude and willingness to travel for work as needed to site locations Fit and able to complete medical assessments and lift a minimum of 10 - 20 kilos on a semi-regular basis where needed.
