We are always on the look-out for dedicated, fashion-forward, and like-minded individualsCountry Road Group - Real Estate Finance and Database Administrator (Fixed Term)Apply now Job no: 996004 Work type: Full-Time Location: Melbourne - CBD & Inner Categories: Leasing PurposeTo manage Country Road Group's Real Estate occupancy costs and lease database (Lease Eagle) as well as file management and providing lease administration support to the business (all brands) as required. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.Key AccountabilitiesManaging month end requirements - general ledger reconciliations, checking of calculations of percentage rent and occupancy capsRaising invoices and ensuring payment of occupancy cap refundsAs required, preparing the annual occupancy budgets and forecast updates, and reviews of actual vs. budgetAnalysing actual payments against approved budgets and instruction of corrections if requiredSetting up and maintaining leases, licences, real estate proposals and other key documents in the company's Lease Eagle lease databaseUnder supervision of the Legal Counsel /Lease Administration Manager, reviewing and interpreting leases clauses (for example, repairs and maintenance obligations, make good obligations, occupancy costs, etc.) and instructing various departments on the company's obligationsUnder supervision of the Legal Counsel/Lease Administration Manager, negotiate and settle storage licence agreements in accordance with the precedent for each major landlords or in an absence of a such precedent, as per instructions and guidanceManaging the execution of legal documents, including following up landlords to ensure receipt of fully executed documentationKey CapabilitiesLease administration, financial or legal background with strong numeracy skillsAbility to understand a retail lease is preferredIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsExperience in lease database management preferred - Lease EagleStrong attention to detail with outstanding planning/organisation skillsStrong communication skills – verbal and writtenAbility to meet deadlines as requiredTeam player and a collaborative attitudeWhy work for CRG?The Country Road Group is one of Australasia's largest Lifestyle Brand Houses comprising of iconic brands such as Country Road, POLITIX, Trenery, Witchery, and MIMCO.
