This company offers supportive, uncapped opportunities as they continue to expand and grow their business through Southeast Queensland.ROLE DUTIESTravel to site location in Bundaberg (discretionary)Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.Establish clear project objectives, define resource requirements, taking into account scope, budget, and quality standards.Identify project dependencies and anticipate potential risks, developing mitigation strategies before project commencement.Ensure alignment with organisational goals and client expectations, maintaining a clear understanding of the project's strategic importance.Develop and manage detailed project budgets, ensuring costs are closely monitored and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare cost forecasts and track financial performance against budget, identifying any potential cost overruns and taking corrective actions where necessary.Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.Manage contract negotiations and supplier agreements to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to agreed-upon terms.Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse project team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations are established.Allocate resources efficiently and ensure project teams have the necessary tools, training, and support to succeed.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting continuous learning and development.Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, conflict resolution, and strong team dynamics.Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, adjusting project plans and schedules as necessary to keep the project on track.Coordinate with legal, regulatory, and safety teams to ensure all risk and compliance requirements are met.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and key project partners, maintaining regular communication on project progress and updates.Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and contractors, ensuring their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on potential project improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering solutions.Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate project scope changes, ensuring that any changes are documented and approved by relevant parties.Oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with project requirements, budget, and timeline.Lead the preparation and administration of contracts, working closely with legal teams to ensure clear and fair terms.Manage supplier and subcontractor performance, ensuring that services and materials are delivered on time and in accordance with quality standards.Ensure all project activities adhere to relevant industry standards, local regulations, and organisational quality control processes.Implement and enforce quality assurance practices across the project, ensuring all deliverables meet the required specifications and client expectations.Provide regular updates to senior management, stakeholders, and clients on project status, risks, and achievements.EXPERIENCE/SKILLSETA minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management, with significant exposure to large-scale projects in commercial construction ($15M-30M).A degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Proven ability to lead, plan, execute, and deliver complex projects, managing all aspects including scope, time, cost, and quality.Expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams, including project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and external partners.In-depth knowledge of project management softwareExperience with Australian regulatory standards, safety protocols, and compliance procedures is highly preferred.Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.PACKAGESalary dependent on experience: $170k - 200K + SuperVehicle + Fuel CardFlights + Accommodation + Meals + Travel expenses paid forUncapped progression and growth opportunitiesA vibrant, high-energy culture and environment to work in
