With a strong track record of successfully completing large-scale projects throughout Sydney for both government and commercial organisations, they are well-equipped to manage any project from start to finish.
About The Opportunity As an Asphalt Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of all asphalt and civil construction projects.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for asphalt and civil works projects, covering all aspects like materials, labor, equipment, and overheads. Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to identify scope, risks, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare and submit tenders and quotations to clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements. Work with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractors for specific projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. About You Minimum of 2 years experience as an asphalt estimator Strong knowledge of asphalt production, roadworks, and civil construction processes. Solid understanding of construction cost estimation, tendering, and contract management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, suppliers, and project teams. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-effective solutions and manage project budgets.
