Location: Townsville Category: Trade / Operations Position Type: Permanent Job Reference: BOE/1813751 The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a CH-47 F QFI to join the CISS Contract in Townsville to begin employment in Jan 2025.
The QFI will work within the School of Army Aviation Chinook Wing.
Responsibilities CH-47 F airborne instruction CH-47 F synthetic instruction CH-47 F ground instruction CH-47 F general flying operations Related or associated flying, instructional and administrative tasks Maintaining flying currency and qualifications as required by AAAvn Command Promoting a safe and effective work environment Contributing to improvements in the performance of the team Experience/Qualifications Essential CH-47 F QFI Category C CH-47 F NVIS Command Group 4 Instrument Rating CASA CPL-H (or higher) Current CLASS 1 Medical Current CASA ASIC Able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance of Non-Vetted Level 1 Desirable Criteria CH47 F QFI Category B/A Group 4 Instrument Rating Assessor CH-47 F TFPS Instructor Operator Simulator CH-47 F Maintenance Pilot qualification Simulator Reference Pilot Physical Requirements Boeing Defence Australia specific site positions will have physical requirements which are applicable.
Physical requirements are outlined by the recruitment manager in consultation with the Environment Health & Safety Department.
A formal assessment of the physical requirements will need to be completed through the Environment Health & Safety Department for specific roles which would then reflect into the position description.
Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
