Join the team at John Fawkner Private Hospital as a Theatre Technician We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Perioperative Services team on a full-time basis. As a member of our team you will play an important role in providing high-quality service to theatres and other clinical areas. We offer a supportive environment where our teams work closely to achieve the best patient outcomes and high standards of care.
As a Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include: Assist nursing staff in the delivery of safe and compassionate careTransport to and from the wardAssist with the safe positioning and immediate preoperative preparation of the patientAssist with positioning and connection of equipment in the theatre as requiredMaintenance of a sterile environmentSound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practicesAdhere to Healthscope and site policies and proceduresContribute to the efficient, effective, and economic running of the Perioperative Services team Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in AustraliaMinimum 12 months experience as a Theatre TechnicianWorking with Children checkCommitment to service excellenceStrong time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesWork well independently and within a teamCertificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) Healthscope, where career means more No matter where you are at in your career, at Healthscope you can choose your own adventure.
