Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management Platform Engineer.
This is a 12 month contract.
The role is open for ACT, QLD, SA and VIC.
The successful candidate must have NV1 security clearance.
12 months contractOpen for ACT, QLD, SA, and VIC candidatesHybrid role (3 days office and 2 days WFH)NV1 is mandatory for this rolePaxus pays weeklyWe are seeking cyber security professionals with extensive experience in developing and maturing Cyber Vulnerability Management capability.
To be successful in this role you must have experience with:
Vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7, Tenable, Sentinel, Windows Defender, Forescout, and any additional toolsDeveloping and documenting relevant processes to mature Vulnerability Management capabilityAligning the Vulnerability management process with the relevant policiesUndertaking actions to discover, assess, report, act, and evaluate cyber vulnerabilitiesPreparing detailed reports and presentations for management on vulnerability statusAnalysing vulnerability findings and prioritizing remediation actionsCollaborating with IT and development teams to implement security measuresManaging the design, installation, and operation of the ICT system for vulnerability management and end-to-end process mappingProviding broad technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activitiesConfiguring and managing all non-functional platform capabilities including job scheduling, output management, email, archiving, technical security, and technical connectivity between software componentsLiaising with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement, and deployment of hardware and related assetsManaging the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layersManaging the operation of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for IT systemsDeveloping staff capability through coaching, mentoring, and succession planningCollaborating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomesPreparing and reviewing a range of technical documentation and reportsTo be considered for this role you must:
Demonstrate experience in vulnerability management platform deployment/management/design for ICT projects within Federal GovernmentProven experience in developing cyber vulnerabilities management processes and supporting technologies to effectively discover, assess, report, act, and evaluate cyber vulnerabilitiesExperience in various vulnerability management platforms within large scale ICT projects for Federal GovernmentExperience in aligning the Vulnerability management process with the relevant policiesDemonstrated experience in preparing detailed reports and presentations for management on vulnerability statusAbility to analyse vulnerability findings and prioritize remediation actionsCollaborate with IT and development teams to implement security measuresWhen inquiring about this role, please quote job number #267331.
