The Role.

As the Design Manager, you will take the reins of the in-house design team, driving the creative vision for upcoming projects while ensuring practical and efficient delivery.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's design processes and systems, building a robust framework for future success.
This position offers the unique opportunity to create and lead a team, empowering you to make a lasting impact on the organisation's approach to design.
Your responsibilities will include managing all stages of the design process, from concept development to project completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
A strong understanding of the documentation process is essential, as you will oversee the preparation and coordination of design documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
You will also collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes.
What You Need.

To excel in this role, you will need to be a registered architect in the ACT, with significant experience working on large-scale commercial or residential projects.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team are essential, as is a solid understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery frameworks, and documentation processes.
You should have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to implement systems and processes that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
Outstanding communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse project stakeholders are also key to success.
