Devops Engineer

As a mid-weight DevOps Engineer at Bilue, you'll contribute to designing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while learning and growing your expertise in automation and deployment.
This role is key to supporting the scalability, performance, and security of our cloud-based solutions.
Working closely with senior engineers and development teams, you'll play a hands-on role in managing infrastructure and enabling efficient deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployment processes.Managing AWS infrastructure, including serverless services like Lambda and traditional services such as EC2 and RDS.Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for scalable and repeatable management.Monitoring and optimising system performance, reliability, and security using AWS-native and third-party tools.Collaborating with development teams to streamline deployments and resolve infrastructure challenges.Championing DevOps best practices, including automation, monitoring, and incident management.Building and maintaining automated testing pipelines to validate infrastructure changes and deployment processes.Proven expertise with AWS services like Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, and EC2.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.Strong understanding of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python or Shell.Experience working in an Agile environment.Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus is a nice to have, but not essential.A background in managing hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments would also be beneficial.Life at Bilue Client-focused: We are dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our clients while supporting each other to achieve collective success.Flexible work: We offer 1-2 days per week in the office, balancing flexibility with the expectation that you'll go the extra mile for our clients when needed.Professional development: We're committed to your personal and professional growth, offering continuous learning through Go1 (which provides unlimited access to a wide range of courses), along with support from our dedicated internal performance coach.Annual events: We organise annual events to foster in-person connection and team collaboration.Flat structure: We operate with a flat structure, where our casual, approachable executive leadership team (ELT) ensures everyone's voice is heard.Internal communities: We build and nurture internal communities for knowledge sharing and collaboration, keeping everyone connected and informed.Bilue = Big + Blue Ocean.
