We do this by monitoring and helping improve safety (both for food and the employees who produce it), quality, yields and efficiency with production facilities, as well as providing end-to-end traceability from farm to fork.About the RoleLumachain is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer to develop leading edge products and systems which will be deployed in meat and processing plants across the US and globally.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining and finetuning perception models via data engineering techniques, such as high-quality data extracting, edge-case data collection, data augmentation, etc.Collaborating with Senior Computer Vision Engineers (AI team), Quality Assurance (QA) team, and Product Managers to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet customer requirements.Working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy, speed and robustness of computer vision applications.Roll out computer vision modules covering entire project life cycle from design to post-release maintenance.Design and develop novel computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms for real-time scenarios in meat industry, including multiple objects detection & tracking, action recognition & tracking, scene recognition & understanding, body gesture estimation and recognition, optical character recognition, face recognition & tracking, data generation and reconstruction, data analysis etc.Participate in cutting edge research in computer vision that can be applied to product development.ExperienceBachelor, Master or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Solid knowledge of computer vision, image processing, deep neural networks (DNN), machine learning, etc.Extensive expertise in C++ and Python programming in computer vision and/or deep learning fields.Solid knowledge and experiences with detection models (e.g.
Yolo, Centrenet), instance segmentation models (e.g.
Yolo, Yolact), multiple object tracking (e.g.
