Why Join Us:Staff discount of 30% off full price items and an additional 15% off reduced itemsGreat inner-city location in the vibrant Glenferrie café district of Hawthorn, close to public transportInvaluable experience as part of the broader, fast-paced Planning teamCompetitive salary packageThe Role:Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the return on investment through the planning of sales and inventory, maximising the sales potential and minimising the losses from stock outs and markdowns, carefully balancing the requirements of inventory to support sales with the constraints imposed by store layouts, warehouse and logistical issues.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:Establish the seasonal sales budgetsAnalysis, review and forecasting the seasonal budget weekly and recommending strategies to maximise sales potentialThe quantification of promotional, seasonal and core product rangesMaximise sales potential, minimising losses from stock outs and markdownsLiaison with planning, buying, product development and warehouse teams.Skills and Experience Required:Previous Merchandise Planning experience, 3-5 years.Strong merchandising planning principlesHighly developed analytical, numerical and problem-solving skillsHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and merchandise processes and systemsStrong understanding of retail mathematicsWe Would Love to Hear from You:If you have the skills, experience and motivation to succeed in this role and want to be part of a friendly and supportive team environment, we want to hear from you.
