About the roleJoin our thriving team at Gathered Bakers as the Front of House Manager.
In this full-time role based in Chapel Hill, you will oversee the seamless operation of our front-of-house, ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for all our patrons.
It is a full-time role (38 hours per week) including standard leave entitlements and reporting directly to the bakery owner.
What you'll be doing Manage and lead the front-of-house team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performanceCreate and implement efficient front-of-house systems and procedures to enhance the customer experienceMonitor inventory and stock levels, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal levelsHandle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact, resolving issues promptlyAnalyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvementAssist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting as requiredWhat we're looking for Proven experience as a front-of-house manager or equivalent role in the hospitality industryStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional experiencesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstancesProficient in using point-of-sale systems and other hospitality management softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenA keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWhat we offerAt Gathered Bakers, we provide a supportive and collaborative work environment, where your professional development and personal well-being are highly valued.
