We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our project procurement team delivering the Darwin Ship Lift Facility
This role will be based in our site office in Darwin, on a 15 days on, 6 days off roster.
Clough in a joint venture with BMD have been awarded by the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility.

Your focus will include: Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with procurement team, to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the projectRaising and issuing of confirmed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough proceduresManaging the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packagesWorking with Vendor management to Pre-qualifying Suppliers where requiredEnsuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and ServicesReporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement processWhat you will bring to the team: 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role as a BuyerDocumented experience of managing procurement of major equipment packages for infrastructure projectsExposure to EPC type reimbursable projectsPrevious experience working with SAP would be highly regardedCompetent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholdersExperience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentationBasic knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining purchasing / expediting data in materials management systemsAbility to work a 15 : 6 FIFO rotation to siteClough's people enjoy: A competitive remuneration packageFlexible and remote work options to manage work and lifestyle commitmentsOngoing training for career progressionIndustry leading paid parental leave program from the day you joinMental health and wellbeing programsEmployee assistance program for employees and their familiesSpecial offers on private health insurance, salary packaging, banking, travel, groceries and moreA supportive team culture and environmentWe're building a diverse workforce At Clough, we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities in which we work and live, fostering an inclusive environment that accepts every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.
