Who We Need A Filings Administrator or Paralegal to work in the Design Filings team.
The primary function of this position is to manage the filing of design cases for the Griffith Hack design practice group.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in managing all aspects of design filings.
This position is ideal for candidates who excel and thrive in a dynamic, friendly and supportive environment.

To be successful in this role, you will display: Outstanding levels of accuracy and client service skills A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisation and time management skills Fast learner who understands concepts and processes easily A high level of professionalism and adaptability to changing situations Problem solving skills and technical proficiency Effective communication skills, written and verbal Commitment to provide best service with a positive mindset Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Create new files for all Australian and New Zealand design applications; manage all filing instructions, in consultation with instructing Attorney Assist with all filing instructions, associated correspondence/documentation and manage administrative issues relating to design filings Preparation of documents for filings including formatting of design representations and drafting correspondence Liaison with Patent Offices in Australia and New Zealand as required Maintain client database records, case status records, create and maintain diaries and templates (Inprotech) Consult with Attorneys on design applications Manage case workload and deadlines to ensure cases are filed and managed professionally and with care Keep clients and attorneys up to date on progress of filings, including preparing invoices and reporting letters Experience Working to deadlines Administration and accurate data entry Previous experience working in the Intellectual Property profession and with design filing and administration Location: Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Perth How To Apply If either of these roles sound like you, and you have work rights in Australia, we'd love to talk.
