Your Role
You'll be an integral member of the team, partnered closely with Executive and be the face and voice of all HSEQ matters.
This critical position will enhance the HSEQ management system and continues to promote a culture of excellence through all people.
Responsibilities will include;
Developing and implementing HSEQ Management Systems Formulating, implementing, and continuously improving HSEQ policies, procedures and associated documents to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements Ensure that all employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders are aware of and comply with established HSEQ standards Developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, site managers and subcontractors by way of attending meetings, social events and project-start discussions Keeping abreast of relevant HSEQ regulations and standards, and ensuring that co-workers are informed in a user-friendly manner Leading investigations, identifying root cause and implementing corrective and preventative actionables Developing and delivering HSEQ training programs for employees and contractors, promoting strong safety culture throughout the entire workforce Participating and preparing for annual audits and client-led audits such as Defence and Government All necessary reporting and record keeping at all times Other Details
The position is Full-Time, Monday – Friday and the company seeks to mirror their energetic, vibrant and excellence in accuracy and relationships.
Remuneration guide is commensurate with skills and attributes; ranged between $105 – 115K + Super.
About You
You may be highly experienced in HSEQ Coordination within the SA Construction sector or perhaps, you come with 3-5 years of experience and yet to find your 'home' You have excellent organisational skills You have sound experience in interpreting and delivering HSEQ policy and legislation to the wider workforce, as well as work closely with Executive where required You have had exposure to Audits and preparation for Audits Your passion is centred in HSEQ and you bring a compelling story surrounding your decision to make HSEQ your career choice What to do now
