Role The classroom teacher classification comprises two salary ranges- range 1 and range 2.
The primary focus of the classroom teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
The classroom teacher engages in critical reflection and inquiry in order to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students and improve their learning.

As the classroom teacher gains experience, their contribution to the school program beyond the classroom increases.
All classroom teachers may be required to undertake other duties in addition to their rostered teaching duties provided the responsibility is appropriate to the salary range, qualifications, training and experience of the teacher.

Responsibilities The role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students; Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school; Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal; Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions; Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Who May Apply Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.

Responsibilities We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Outreach Teacher to join our team.
The Outreach Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that engage diverse communities, providing support and resources to enhance learning opportunities for students outside of traditional classroom settings.
This role requires strong flexibility, adaptability and a strong understanding of differentiation for disengaged learners.

Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum designed to: Build stamina for learning and students' window of tolerance Develop social and emotional learning, including the development of self-regulation strategies Engage students through a heavily differentiated curriculum, including individual projects and inquiry-based units that focus on student strengths and interests with a cross-curricular focus Use assessment tools to measure social and emotional and academic growth Working collaboratively with the Engagement team to ensure best practices are observed Communicating with key stakeholders, including staff, parents/carers, external supports and community members Case management, including facilitation of Student Support Group meetings and development and implementation of Individual Education Plans Coach Education Support on Curriculum Development Use of personal vehicle for offsite student meetings where required To apply for this role, you will be redirected to the Schools (Government) job application system.
