Infra Operations Specialist - Capacity & PerformanceOur Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain, and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future.

What will I be doing? This role is part of the Service Operations and Infrastructure Group and liaises with Business Customers, various IT departments, Service Providers, and vendors.The role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the capacity and performance of the Woolworths on-premise and public cloud infrastructure by working with our partners to provide hands-on technical expertise and delivery.Ensure partners deliver to contractual outcomes of Performance and Capacity management.Work with Service Providers and external Vendors to agree and maintain standards aligned with industry best practices.Operational ownership of Availability, Performance, & Capacity in relevant environments.Ownership for operational standards and practices in Woolworths ITIL-driven Capacity and Performance landscape.Fulfilling ad-hoc requests for performance and capacity reviews and recommendations from the business.Monitor and analyze the utilization of IT resources, including servers, storage, network, and cloud services.Forecast future capacity needs based on trends, growth, and business requirements.Develop standardized reporting structures using a data repository updated real-time and near real-time via automation of the data collections.What will I bring? Years of progressive experience in Enterprise level IT environments hosted in private and public cloud platforms.Experience with performance monitoring tools available in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP.Experience with enterprise monitoring tool sets such as Splunk.Experience with Visualization Platforms such as Tableau, Looker(GCP).Experience with Data Analytics platforms such as BigQuery(GCP) and working with large datasets.Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Ansible.Experience in using Machine Learning Models for correlation and trending would be an advantage.What will I experience?
