In this role the Project Risk Lead will deliver risk management services to Systems Planning and Infrastructure Delivery projects including implementing risk management strategies and systems to manage risk across the project lifecycle, and to provide risk management advice and assurance.
You will lead the provision of Project Risk services to support Asset Lifecycle, as part of the Infrastructure Delivery Office.
The role will lead project risk management strategies and systems to manage project risk across the project lifecycle, and to provide risk management advice and assurance.
The role is a key liaison with Delivery Management leadership in Systems Planning, Program Delivery and Major Projects on the selection and evaluation of risk strategies for optimising the delivery of in scope works.
Member of the Project Controls Capability leadership team responsible for providing integrated risk advice across all control's functions.
About you:
You will need tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business Improvement, Management Systems or related field, or experience deemed equivalent Extensive demonstrated experience in the application of a project risk management framework in a large organisation Experience working on large Infrastructure projects within Industries such as Construction, Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas and Civil Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Ability to focus on strategic vision whilst dealing with tactical issues Ability to engage with people at all levels in the organisation and with external stakeholders At Sydney Water, we are passionate about making a difference to the lives of our customers and communities.
