So join our team and build your careers with usField Technician - ConcreteDivision: Boral Resources NSW P/LDepartment: METRO CONCRETE NSWWork type: Permanent - full timeLocation: SydneyBased in Baulkham Hills, we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Concrete Field Tester working mainly on customer sites. Working independently, this role reports to the Technical Supervisor - Concrete and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, maintenance of records, and reporting of results for our concrete products.Your day will involve:Conduct sampling of concrete samples on siteConduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals.Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operationsOther duties as directed by the Field Tester Section HeadWhat are we looking for?Demonstrable experience as a concrete field testerNata Signatory in concrete testing would be highly desirableExperience in a supervisor or team leader role would be highly desirableExperience in Qest LIMS systemA commitment to safety and qualityRelevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline e.g. Civil, Chemical or Materials - (desirable but not essential).Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).Good time management and organisational skillsAn ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlinesKnowledge of Australian and Industry standardsWhat's on offer?Ongoing mentoring and guidance from industry leaders and subject matter expertsWe provide a working environment that is safe, caring, supportive, and dynamic with a clear focus on continually encouraging and developing its people.About Boral ConcreteAt Boral Concrete, we have more than 200 operational sites across Australia.
