What this job involves:
We have an exciting opportunity for an analytical accounting professional to join our Client Accounting Services Group based in Sydney CBD.
As the Senior Portfolio Accountant, you will assist in the financial control of a portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial properties for our clients.
This is a fixed-term role covering a maternity leave for 6 months.
A snapshot of the role:
Preparation of monthly Financial Reports including client-specific reporting Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to ensure reporting is completed in a timely manner Preparation & Approval of journals IFRS Accounting and Reporting Ensure monthly invoicing is completed on time and tenants' arrears are managed Processing client remittances Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recoveries Liaising with clients and attending to queries Balance sheet and Tenant account reconciliations Participate in process improvement projects when required Provision of quality accounting support to key stakeholders, including Property Managers and clients Sound like you?
This is what we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
Achievement or studying towards professional qualifications (CA / CPA) will be highly regarded Prior experience in the property industry (commercial, retail, residential or industrial) will be highly desirable Sound interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and clients alike Sound written and oral communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment Sound proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Exposure to asset management software such as YARDI or MRI will be highly regarded but not essential What you can expect from us:
