Their commitment to sustainability ensures Australia's tourism industry thrives for generations to come.About the Role: Join Tourism Australia as a Sustainability Business Analyst and become a key player in their sustainability journey.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the Sustainability Manager, you'll lead the development and implementation of their sustainability reporting systems while serving as the in-house technical expert for ESG standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Design and manage AI-powered sustainability dashboards for board and leadership reportingImplement sustainability frameworks across procurement and operationsDevelop comprehensive ESG reporting systems ensuring regulatory complianceLead materiality assessments and strategic sustainability improvementsDrive cross-functional initiatives to address emerging ESG challengesQualifications and Experience:5+ years in finance and/or analyst roles, with at least 12 months focused on sustainability data managementTertiary qualifications in finance, sustainability, business, or accountingStrong understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, TCFD, AASB, SBTi)Proven experience in ESG implementation and reportingAdvanced Excel skills and data analytics capabilitiesPersonal Attributes:Strategic thinker who can balance immediate operational needs with long-term sustainability goalsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across all levelsStrong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detailAdaptable professional comfortable with evolving frameworks and prioritiesSelf-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced global environmentBenefits:Shape Australia's sustainable tourism futureLead ESG initiatives across international marketsDrive meaningful change in a globally recognised organisationStrong professional development opportunitiesPrime Sydney CBD locationReady to Make a Difference?
