The SBS Account Development Team is a key part of ICS and maintains relationships with Small and Medium & Large market clients in Australia & New Zealand, supporting business owners with products and services to help them run and grow their businesses.
The SBS Account Development Executive position is responsible for managing a dynamic Small Business Services portfolio, with the goal of growing billing & lending revenues whilst focusing on customer retention via effective pipeline management.
To be effective, the ADE is required to interpret information from a variety of sources including customer conversations, internal data and analytics resources and external sources to uncover and convert growth opportunities. Ensuring a positive customer experience with every interaction is paramount.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive billings growth through application of consultative selling skills to identify and secure spend expansion opportunities
Cross selling additional products to support business growth
Improve retention to meet defined overall portfolio targets for growth
Maintain a high level of knowledge for related products, underwriting policy, systems and processes
Thinking conceptually and analytically to ensure we are enhancing the most positive customer experience
Qualifications
Previous relationship management and consultative sales experience
Proven track record of delivering results
Strong portfolio and pipeline leadership skills
Strong influencing skills with an ability to respectfully challenge the status-quo
Able to build rapport and engage with business owners including accountants, financial controllers or CFOs
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
Strong commercial and financial acumen and the ability to have financial conversations on working capital and cash flow (desirable)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven interpersonal and communication skills
Be a team player, with a high focus on collaboration and sharing of ideas, and also able to work independently.
