PHE High Voltage is expanding, and we're on the hunt for an experienced and driven High Voltage Cable Jointer / Electrician to become a vital part of our team.
This is a full-time, permanent role with endless opportunities to grow and work on exciting projects.

In this position you will report to the General Manager of High Voltage and play a crucial role in installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing high voltage systems.
Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our clients' operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the General Manager of High Voltage, your role will be critical in supporting projects.
Your responsibilities include:
Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage electrical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in high voltage systems and components.
Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent system failures.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement high voltage system upgrades and modifications.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards for high voltage work.
Document all work performed, including Inspection Test Plans and Reports.
Mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking someone with the expertise, passion, and drive to make an impact:
Your Experience:
Proven skills in high voltage cable jointing, laying, terminating, and repairing underground power cables.
Familiarity with Raychem, Nexans, and Sicame products.
Strong understanding of high voltage safety procedures and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
Your Credentials:
Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
Current Electrical License.
Cert III in Distribution Cable Jointing.
Current CPR/LVR certification (within the last 9 months).
Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
White/Blue Construction Card.
