About the Service:ECTARC Sanctuary Point is a 40-place service providing early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age in Sanctuary Point on the shores of St. Georges Basin.
We are ideally located within walking distance of local facilities such as shops, library, a bike park, and Sanctuary Point Public School. About the Role:ECTARC Sanctuary Point is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic trainee looking to start their career in early childhood education.
During the 18-month traineeship, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience while working and studying alongside our qualified educators to complete your Certificate III in Early Education and Care.
ECTARC is a registered training organisation with Training and Development Officers supporting you to gain the skills needed to excel in our service.
Upon completion of your Certificate III qualification, real job opportunities will be available to you.

Age 18 years or overA genuine interest in working with young childrenA commitment to undertaking the practical and theoretical components of the programA current Working with Children Check clearance number (or be willing to obtain)Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 – Provide emergency First Aid in an education and care setting)Vaccination for COVID-19 is required, and employees are encouraged to obtain booster doses as they become available.Next Steps:At ECTARC, we pay highly competitive salaries above the award rate.
Course fees are covered, and you will receive a bonus of $1250.00 every six months throughout your traineeship, along with three hours of paid study time off the floor each week.
You will also receive mentoring and support from a dedicated Educator in your team and trainee study groups with an experienced Early Childhood Coordinator.
Successful applicants will undergo pre-employment screening and probity checks.
