Our client is a building icon in the Victorian Property Market. A highly successful large scale builder/developer, established over 30 years ago. With a portfolio aimed at all levels from first home owners, investors through to luxury custom builds and medium density, this exceptional company offers a quality working environment with a high degree of autonomy.We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Estimator for Bespoke Custom New Build Homes. You MUST have a minimum of 3+ years Sales Estimating experience in a similar capacity with New Luxury Custom Homes, with contract values in the vicinity of $3m, preparing and calculating initial Sales Estimating and preparation of tender and variation costs from information provided by the Sales Department.Key responsibilities (but not limited to):Complete estimating from tender documents and variationsPrepare inventory items and assemblies in an estimating package for common itemsEnsure correct quantities are in the BOQ's and complete on-site measures and take offs when requiredLiaise with staff, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure a cohesive approach to the construction processCheck contract plans for accuracy prior to release for constructionLiaise with Construction Supervisors and ManagersThis is a hands-on role where you will confidently demonstrate an understanding of the estimating workflow process, be interactive, flexible, and progressive in your thinking.
