The Role
We are seeking a suitable candidate to fill a part time contract backfill position to undertake the role of Service Delivery Assistant to join our Aged Care Service team based in Alexandra, Victoria.
The position is for 45.6 hours per fortnight with additional hours as required.
The position is fixed term until end of June 2025.
The Service Delivery Assistant will support the Aged Care Manager with face to face assessment and intake, scheduling staff and client support rosters against client care requirements and general administration tasks associated with Aged Care packages, (Veterans Affairs, CHSP, HACC, private brokerage and domestic services)
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with excellent attention to detail and a passion for helping others.
Highly developed interpersonal skills and experience communicating with all stakeholders.
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and with the ability to multitask.
Collaborative, client focused and a positive attitude.
Be able to work autonomously, under limited direction, however collaboratively and within a diverse team environment.
Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
Experience working within the Aged Care, Disability and / or Human Services sector.
Qualifications in Disability, Community Services or equivalent.
Proficient with technology and experience with Client Management Systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
A commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.
Menzies operate a stringent safety screening process for preferred candidates that will require two satisfactory current professional references, an identity check, qualification check, satisfactory national and international (where required) criminal history checks.
Full Victorian Driver Licence
Full Working rights in Australia with no restrictions as verified in VEVO
Verified International Police Check ( where required ) and current within 3 months of report issue date
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
