Year 5 Class TeacherLeeds Primary SchoolJanuary 2025 - June/July 2025Full-time contract (maternity cover)Teachers must have 3+ years of experience and must have completed ECTNextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Leeds, Horsforth (LS18) who are looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher for a Year 5 class to cover a maternity from January 2025 - June/July 2025. There could also be the possibility of a contract after this period.KS2 Primary Teacher Roles and Responsibilities:Implement engaging and effective lessons for the children that are aligned with the UK National Curriculum.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/carers.KS2 Primary Teacher Non-Negotiables:Must have recent and relevant teaching experience in Education.Must hold a PGCE and/or equivalent Teaching Qualification valid for teaching in the UK with QTS.Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS2.Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one.Full-time availability and able to provide 2 professional references.Must have completed ECT years.If you are interested in this position and would like to discuss further, please contact Charley Alexander on the contact details below.
