Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe OpportunityAt APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy.We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Reporting Lead to join our Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team in our Melbourne or Sydney offices on a permanent full-time basis.Reporting directly to the Manager, Company Reporting & Reputation, you will play a critical role in advancing the organisation's sustainability agenda and ensuring APA's sustainability disclosures are in line with best practice.The Sustainability Reporting Lead will coordinate APA's sustainability reporting approach and deliverables, supporting the preparation of management, board, and external reports. The role will contribute to enhancing the Groups' reputation by ensuring high quality, consistent, transparent and continuous improvement of APA's disclosure and sustainability obligations.Key Responsibilities:Support the Manager, Company Reporting and Reputation and the General Manager, Brand and Reputation to establish a best-in-class central reporting function at APA across the Annual Report (including the Climate Report), the Sustainability Data book, the Modern Slavery Statement and UNGC Communication on ProgressDevelop, coordinate approvals, and manage the delivery of APA's sustainability disclosures, specifically:Coordinating the data collection of the Sustainability Roadmap quarterly performance reports metrics for internal governanceThe sustainability content of the Annual Integrated Report and Sustainability DatabookCoordinate the delivery of the Climate Report, UN Global Compact COP, and other reports as applicableWork closely with report content owners (e.g., sustainability, climate, people safety and culture, health safety environment and heritage, finance, and operations) to collect accurate and relevant data for reporting purposesActively research, monitor and manage ESG issues, standards, emerging trends and legislation that could impact the business and provide strategic analysis and insights to relevant business leaders and managementYour background:Tertiary qualification and/or relevant work experience in related disciplineAn experienced Reporting specialist with at least 5 years' experience in a reporting role within an ASX, large, multi-stream program environments or supporting a multidisciplinary operational functionDirect experience in leading an end to end sustainability reporting processes including assurance processesExperience in managing stakeholder relationships and working across multiple functions within an organisationMust have strong working knowledge of and strong familiarity with relevant reporting standards (e.g. Global Reporting Initiatives, IFRS, etc.) and clear understanding of sustainability issues and relevant emerging trends.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong data analytic skills with an exceptional attention to detailWorking at APAAt APA we're committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
