Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the Farleigh Mill factory maintenance team.
As the Maintenance Supervisor , you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities within the plant to ensure optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
You will lead and support a dedicated team, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and safely, while driving continuous improvement in operations.
You will also:
Have an ability to influence positive change in a challenging environment Supervise crews including management of personnel daily activities as required Provide clear directions and demonstrate ability to complete assigned tasks Establish effective working relationships with all other personnel around the Mill to achieve high factory reliability and production targets Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety as per company site safety policies and legislative requirements Ensure compliance with site environmental, health and safety policies and procedures Other duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the Factory.
About you
As a minimum, you will hold and/or maintain the following:
Substantial demonstrated experience in successfully leading teams in meeting measurable outcomes within the Sugar Milling and/or Heavy Industrial environments Tertiary or Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Trade, Engineering or related discipline Minimum of 5 years' experience and knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance execution Computer literacy in Microsoft Applications SAP experience is desirable Why Mackay Sugar?
